Our legacy of caring began with the vision and passion of our founder, Bill R. Foster, over 60 years ago.
To provide life-enriching community experiences which emphasize excellence, integrity, respect, individuality and security;
building on a legacy of caring established in 1955.
Practice uncompromising ethics and sincerity in all conduct and interactions
Ensure all community members are treated with the honor, dignity and esteem they deserve
Foster Hospitality Group’s communities all carry the Culpepper Place name. Named after his mother, Martha Frances Culpepper Foster, Bill Foster, Sr. wished to honor her by building assisted living communities she would be proud to call home. Her grandchildren continue the naming tradition and ensure the Culpepper Place communities provide exceptional homes fit for their family and yours.
Foster Hospitality Group’s legacy of caring began with the vision and passion of its founder, Bill R. Foster, over 60 years ago. After a visit with an elderly friend, Bill left dismayed by the apparent shortage of adequate care and housing for the elderly. This inspired him to open his first nursing home in Springfield, Missouri in 1955.
Son and daughter, Tony Foster and Kaye Foster-Gibson are now the principal executives for Foster Hospitality Group adhering to Bill Foster’s high standards and continuing what he began decades ago –
A Legacy of Caring.
