Nursing Department
1. Certified Nurse’s Assistant and Resident Assistant
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Resident Assistant (RA) is primarily responsible for the aid of activities of daily living for residents within the assisted living community. Activities of daily living is a term used to describe the daily activities that involve self-care. These activities include, but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding, mobility, and/or transferring.
2. Licensed Practical Nurse
A Licensed Practical Nurse, or LPN, is primarily responsible for medical oversight of resident care. Ensure outstanding and appropriate care is delivered while adhering to community guidelines, state regulations and laws.
3. Director of Nursing
The Director of Nursing is solely responsible for the administration, management, and supervision of the clinical services of the community, ensuring the residents’ healthcare needs are met while adhering to community guidelines, state regulations and laws.
Kitchen Department
1. Dietary Aide
The dietary aide assists in the preparation of food and serving the residents within the community.
2. Cook
The cook is responsible for the preparation of the meals while being able to follow state guidelines and be able to cater to the dietary needs of those who reside within the assisted living community.
3. Dietary Department Manager
The Dietary Department Manager is solely responsible for all areas of operation within the kitchen department. This individual must have the ability to plan meals as well as order food while staying within the allotted budget.
Maintenance Department
1. Housekeeper
The housekeeping department handles cleaning the rooms of residents as well as the other primary areas of the community.
2. Property Superintendent
The Property Superintendent is responsible for the housekeeping department as well as maintaining the property within and around the assisted living community.
Activities Director
The Activities Director is a highly energetic individual who is responsible for leading the activity program while providing a fun, active, and exceptional quality of life for our residents.
Administration
1. Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant must have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative while providing operational support to the Community Director.
2. Marketing Director
The Marketing Director is responsible for creating and implementing a marketing plan while representing the facility through community involvement and networking, as appropriate. The Marketing Director is to meet with prospective residents and families, as well as conduct tours of the facility to gain admission into the assisted living community.
3. Community Director
The Community Director is responsible for all areas of operations within the facility. These responsibilities include but are not limited to, census development, staff building/retention, while adhering to community guidelines, state regulations and laws.
